Delhi-Gurgaon Metro line opens tomorrow

Delhi Metro train will start tomorrow morning from HUDA City Centre Metro station of Gurgaon. <br/><br/>The commissioner of Metro rail safety R. K. Kardam issued no objection certificate to the Delhi Metro Rail corporation last week paving way for the start of the Qutub Minar- Gurgaon Metro line. <br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports, the passengers will now be able to cover the 14.47 kms in 27 minutes in AC coaches as against 45 minutes by road.The fares for the Metro have been reported to be fixed 8 rupees for the immediate next station and 18 rupees for the last Qutub Minar station from Gurgaon Centre Metro station. <br/><br/>The train will not stop at the Chattarpur Metro station intially as this sation is not opened for public yet. However, the 12.53 kms Central Secretariat-Qutub Minar underground stretch is likely to be ready by mid July to connect Gurgaon directly to Connaught Place.
