Delhi government has decided to build 35 thousand flats for economically weaker sections in the national capital.The flats will be constructed under the Jawaharlal Nehru Urban Renewal Mission at a cost of 1847 crore rupees.The decision to this effect was taken at a high level meeting, chaired by Delhi Urban Development Minister A K Walia. Talking to reporters after the meeting , Mr Walia said that the flats will be constructed at Pooth Khurd, Tikri and Savda Ghevra areas in the city. He said that constructions of such flats will be completed within 18 months.
