Delhi govt special drive to check vehicular pollution next week

Delhi government will launch a special drive from 11th of this month to check vehicular pollution in the national capital. The eight-day special drive will ensure adherence to pollution control norms by commercial and private vehicles. Informing this in New Delhi, Delhi Transport Minister, Arvinder Singh Lovely said around 30 mobile teams of the enforcement wing will be deployed at all entry points to the city and major intersections. He said the mobile teams will examine the CNG and LPG kits and also ensure that the fuel mode is mentioned on the registration certificates of the vehicles. Mr. Lovely said a special holographic sticker will be pasted on the front side of the pollution certificate of the vehicle after examination.
