Earlier, Delhi Government had given time to the three companies, BSES Yamuna Power Ltd, BSES Rajdhani Power Ltd and Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd till this morning to give their views on why there should not be a CAG audit of their companies. Mr. Kejriwal said, the companies had given numerous reasons but not a single reason was found appropriate that why the audit should not be done.

Mr Kejriwal also rejected the view that the matter of the audit was subjudice and the decision cannot be taken. On complaints about the defective quality of power meters, the Chief Minister said, the government would approach IIT Delhi and Delhi College of Engineering for suggestions to improve the quality of meters.
