Delhi Government has constituted a group of Ministers, GoM under the Chairmanship of Urban Development Minister Rajkumar Chauhan to look into the various problems being currently faced by Unauthorized colonies and slum areas in the national capital. The decision to this effect was taken at a Cabinet meeting chaired by Delhi Chief Minister Mrs Shiela Dikshit. Briefing reporters after the meeting, Mrs Dikshit said that GoM has been asked to look into all aspects of the problems faced by the people living in such areas and will submit its report within a month. She also added that Delhi Cabinet will give due consideration to the recommendations of the GoM in this regard.She said that government is committed to uniformly develop all parts of the city.
