Delhi government on Thursday enhanced its budgetary allocations by 2,717 crore rupees to 25,760 crore to meet funds shortage for Commonwealth Games-related works. These include projects relating to roads, infrastructure and buses in the city. Finance Minister A K Walia told reporters that an amount of 800 crore rupees alone has been increased under the head of roads and bridges, which includes construction of flyovers, bridges and widening and improvement of roads.
