The Delhi government has constituted a two-member committee to probe into the incident of bridge collapse near Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium in the capital on Tuesday. The committee has been asked to submit its report within three days. Quoting official source, PTI reports that Delhi government's Principal Secretary (PWD) K.K. Sharma has been asked by Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit to file a detailed report on the incident. Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) H G S Dhaliwal said a case of accident was being registered in connection with the collapse. PWD Minister Raj Kumar Cahuhan said that 27 persons have sustained injuries following this unfortunate incident. Five of them are seriously injured. He said any one responsible for the collapse will be punished.
