Delhi government has started the process of allotment of around 1,500 low cost flats to industrial workers in the national capital. The state infrastructure building agency which constructed the flats in Bawana and Narela area held a draw for this in the city. An official release says government had received over 11 thousands applications from the workers for getting houses under the Rajiv Gandhi Housing scheme. The government had earlier allotted around three thousand such flats under the scheme to industrial workers.
