Delhi government has approved three projects amounting to around 238 crore rupees. Two proposals related to the Education Department for constructing 14 schools whereas one is related to re modeling of Bawana Drain. The decision to this effect was taken in the expenditure finance committee meeting chaired by Delhi Finance Minister Dr A.K Walia.Talking to reporters after the meeting, Dr Walia said that in order to impart better education facilities to the children, it has been decided to construct more schools in the city. He said that 7 schools will be set up in areas like Sarita Vihar , Dwarka Sector and Madanpur with an estimated cost of more than 102 crore rupees. The constructions work of these schools will be carried out by National Construction Corporation Limited.He said that the 7 other schools will be constructed by DSIIDC with a cost of nearly 129 crore rupees. These schools will be constructed in Rohini areas.
