The Home Minister P Chidambaram today visited the blast site. He was there for about 10 minutes. Meanwhile, Delhi government has announced an exgratia payment of 4 lakh rupees for the adults killed in the blast and 1.5 lakh ruppes for minors. An amount of 1 lakh rupes will be given to those seriously injured and 10 thousand rupees to those who suffered minor injuries. Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Diskhit who visited RML Hospital said all injured will be given free treatment.
