The Delhi government today announced a cash award of 25 lakh rupees for teenaged cricketer Unmukt Chand, who successfully steered the Indian cricket team to win the U-19 World Cup. This was announced by Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit in the Delhi Assembly the first day of the monsoon session.The House adopted a resolution congratulating the 19-year-old U-19 team captain.The MLAs also hailed the team and the Delhi boy's performance.The Assembly also congratulated the Olympics medal winners.
