<span style="color: #222222;">Delhi Government has allowed Chhath Puja celebrations at designated sites in the national capital except Yamuna river bank and outside containment zones with requisite permission from the district magistrate. Delhi Disaster Management Authority DDMA in an order said, all persons will be strictly prohibited from throwing puja material or any material like food grain in Yamuna river. It said, Chhath Pooja committees and organizers will have to submit an undertaking to the district magistrates while applying for permission in respect of strict adherence of orders and guidelines. DDMA said, strict adherence of Covid Appropriate Behaviour shall be followed. It said, designated sites will be identified, developed and managed by Revenue Department and District Magistrates in coordination with concerned departments and agencies.</span>
