Delhi govt accuses CBI of seizing documents not related to probe

Delhi government today accused CBI of seizing documents which are not related to the agency's probe against Principal Secretary Rajendra Kumar. Talking to media, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister, Manish Sisodia said CBI scritinised files relating to DDCA during their raid. He said they even planned to seize the files but did not do so after Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal raised the issue in social media.

He wondered why the CBI seized Chief Minister's records of file movements of November-December this year. Mr Sisodia also challenged Finance Minister Arun Jaitley's statement in Parliament that the CBI did not search Kejriwal's office. The office of the Chief Minister's Principal Secretary was raided by CBI yesterday in a corruption case triggering a fresh face-off between the AAP and Centre.
