Journalists accredited with Delhi government and their immediate family members will be eligible to get reimbursement for medical treatment at empanelled private hospitals on par with senior officers.

Delhi Government has issued a notification to this effect, making amendment to earlier regulations. They will now get medical facilities and they can directly approach the empanelled private hospitals for treatment in case of emergencies and life threatening diseases. A group of journalists called on Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, thanking her for extending additional medical facilities.
