Delhi Finance Minister Atishi presents Delhi government's budget in Assembly

In the Delhi Assembly today, Finance Minister Atishi presented the Delhi government's budget of 76 thousand crore rupees for the financial year 2024-25. She said, the government has proposed 16 thousand 396 crore rupees for education and around nine thousand crore rupees for Health Sector. The Minister also announced the launch of the Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana. Under this scheme, every woman above the age of 18 years will be eligible to receive an honorarium of one thousand rupees per month. However, government employees, income taxpayers and those who are getting pensions will not be eligible for this.<br />''<br />''Atishi also announced that 250 new courtrooms will be built in Delhi.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">In the house, a supplementary demand of over seven billion rupees was also passed.
