Delhiites experienced a sweltering day on Wednesday even as the maximum temperature fell to 38.8 degrees Celsius, a decline from yesterday's 43.6 degrees. The weatherman said that the mercury dropped due to squall in some areas of the city Tuesday night. The maximum temperature was recorded at 38.8 degrees Celsius, a notch below normal, while the minimum temperature settled at 27.4 degrees Celsius. The Met office has predicted dust storm and thunderstorm for tomorrow in the city with the maximum and minimum temperatures likely to hover around 38 and 27 degrees Celsius.
