Heavy rain accompanied by lightning and hailstones lashed the national capital this evening affecting vehicular movement across the city.<br/> <br/>The weatherman had yesterday predicted that the city would receive showers this evening.<br/><br/>Delhiites woke up to a pleasant morning today with the minimum temperature settling at 11.7 degree celsius which was two notches above normal. The Met office attributed the rise in minimum temperature to the cloud cover over the city.<br/><br/>The maximum temperature was recorded at 23.7 degrees.<br/><br/>This is the highest rainfall during the month of February in the past three years.<br/><br/>For tomorrow, the weatherman has predicted mainly clear sky with minimum and maximum temperature to be around 14 and 23 degree celsius.
