Delhi Deputy CM tables Delhi Economic Survey 2021-22 during ongoing Budget Session of Assembly

Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia today tabled Delhi Economic Survey 2021-22 during the ongoing Budget Session of Delhi Assembly. The Survey said that the advanced estimate of Gross State Domestic Product, GSDP, of Delhi at current prices during 2021-22 is nine lakh 23 thousand 967 crore rupees which recorded growth of 17.65 percent over previous year.<br />''<br />''GSDP at current prices has increased by about 50 percent in last six years. The Survey further said that Delhi has maintained its consistent revenue surplus of 1450 crore rupees during 2020-21.<br />''<br />''Mr Sisodia also presented status report of outcome budget 2021-22 till 31st December last year. In his address, Mr Sisodia said, through this status report, government apprises where it stands after implementing its various policies and what it has achieved in last one year. This sets accountability of our government, he added.  <br />''<br />''He informed that his government has constructed a total of 13181 class rooms in many government schools. Number of students has increased from 15 lakh to 18 lakh. The Minister said that Delhi government has taken a huge leap in developing the core sectors, including education, health services, women security and transport in the national capital. <br />''<br />''<br />
