Delhi Government has decided to set up a 750 mega watt capacity gas-based power generation plant at Bamnauli area in West Delhi.This was decided in a cabinet meeting chaired By Delhi Chief Minister Shiela Dikshit in New Delhi today. Talking to reporters after the meeting , Mrs Dikshit said that the plant, to be set up by government's Pragati Power Corporation, is expected to be fully commissioned within 28 months. She said that the plant will help meeting the increasing demand pf electricity in the city.
