Ashwin, the stumps were drawn on the second day yesterday and the home side had a lead of 4 runs in the first innings. Australia had scored 262, after opting to bat first.Yesterday, after resuming their first innings at the overnight score of 231 for 8, Australia were bundled out for 262. In reply, after a brilliant 108-run opening stand between Murali Vijay and Cheteshwar Pujara, India began losing wickets at regular intervals and slid to 266 for 8 at the close of play. Spinner Nathan Lyon bagged 5 of the 8 Indian wickets.India have already bagged the series, with superb victories in the first three tests.
