A Delhi court today convicted Sukhdev Pehalwan in the Nitish Katara murder case. It said that at the time of the incident the third accused in the case, Pehalwan, too was present with convicts Vikas Yadav and Vishal Yadav who are currently serving life term in Tihar Jail.Additional Sessions Judge J R Aryan convicted Pehalwan for penal offences of murder, abduction and destruction of evidence.Pehalwan's trial had been separated from those of Vikas and Vishal as he jumped the bail and evaded arrest for quite some time. He had been tried separately after his arrest in 2005.The court would now hear the arguments on quantum of sentence against Pehalwan tomorrow. Meanwhile, mother of Niitsh Katara expressed satisfaction over the judgement and said it was a big relief for her.
