A Delhi court on Wednesday asked the CBI to conduct lie detection test on controversial arms dealer Abhishek Verma, who is a witness in a 1984 anti-Sikh riots case. The court directed the agency to conduct the test at a government-run forensic science laboratory in Rohini in the city.<br/>The order came after the CBI's investigating officer (IO) informed the court about the places where the test facilities were available. <br/><br/>Congress leader Jagdish Tytler, who has been given clean chit thrice by the CBI, had refused to undergo the test. Verma had given conditional consent saying he is ready to undergo the test if he is provided with round-the-clock security as he fears threats to his life.<br/><br/>The court directed the IO to file a report before it after the test is conducted. It has listed the matter for further hearing on 12th of September.
