Delhi continues to reel under hot and humid weather conditions as mercury keeps rising unabated. According to the Met office, the minimum temperature was today recorded at 31 degrees celsius, three nothes above normal. It said, the city will have a partly cloudy sky with the possibility of strong winds during the day. It forecast that thundery developments accompanied by light rain may occur in some parts of the city and the adjoining areas. The maximum temperature will hover around 40 degrees Celsius, where as yesterday, it stood at 40.6 degrees Celsius, 3 notches above average. The maximum and minimum humidity oscillated between 59 and 27 per cent.Talking to AIR, Director, Met department, Dr R.C. Vashisth said, the much awaited south-west monsoon may arrive in the national capital Delhi in the first week of July as against the earlier forecast of the 29th of this month.
