Congress workers today staged demonstration against toll tax increase across the capital and demanded that the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, MCD, should roll back the toll tax hike. Talking to reporters in New Delhi the President of Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee Jai Prakash Agarwal said that the BJP ruled MCD had put additional burden on the people by hiking toll tax. He said that MCD was a civil body which should function on a no-profit, no-loss basis and should not make profit like a business house. Agarwal said to protest against the MCD decision, the Pradesh Congress today organised dharnas at 140 places in Delhi.
