The Delhi and District Cricket Association will form a two-member inquiry committee to look into the pitch fiasco which resulted in the abandonment of the fifth and final India-Sri Lanka ODI in New Delhi today. Vibhakar Shashtri, the government nominee on the DDCA, said that DDCA secretary Mr. S P Bansal has assured him that the association will form an inquiry committee which will submit report within one week. After the match was abandoned, irate fans hurled water bottles and broken chairs to give vent to their anger. The BCCI summarily disbanded its Grounds and Pitches Committee after the fiasco at Ferozeshah Kotla. DDCA President Arun Jaitley announced that ticket holders will be reimbursed their money within two days.
