Cold wave intensified in the national capital with a drastic drop in the day temperature. The maximum temperature recorded was 14.6 degrees which is six degrees below normal. The Met Office predicts the cold wave condition to intensify further in the coming days with night temperature to hover around four degree Celsius. The silver lining is that there is little possibility of a thick blanket of fog disrupting rail and air traffic in the morning.
