Delhi celebrates Indian Broadcast Day

A symposium and cultural programmes are being orgainised in New Delhi to mark the Indian Broadcast Day today. Addressing the gathering, speakers presented their views on the role of Media in Society. Eminent speakers who participated in the Symposium include Dr. Sudhish Pachori, Senior journalist Alok Mehta, Rahul Dev, Dr. Ramsharan Joshi and Chairperson of Centre for Social Research Dr. Ranjana Kumari. All the speakers lauded the role of All India Radio and Doordarshan in making aware people and giving them actual vision of the society. Symposia on role of Radio in Agriculture, Literature, Nation building and Music are being also organised.
