Delhi government will soon install Closed Circuit Television Cameras in DTC and private cluster buses to check crime against women in the national capital.Informing this in New Delhi, Social Welfare Minister of the state Kiran Walia said that the cameras will be installed in a phased manner to provide a safe and secure mode of transport to women. She said this step will help make women passengers feel safe and will also prove vital in cutting crime and anti-social behavior. AIR correspondent reports that more than six thousands buses ply on city roads that are used by lakhs of people.
