Delhi Assembly’s Winter Session to begin tomorrow

The five day winter session of Delhi Legislative Assembly will begin tomorrow. The session which will have five sittings, ends on 13th of this month. The proceedings of the Assembly will begin with the customary address of Lt Governor Tejinder Khanna. Later during the session, a debate will be initiated on deteriorating law and order in the capital and trifurcation of civic agency MCD for better administrative arrangement and public convenience. The House will also take up Delhi Co- opearative Societies (Amendment) Bill-2012 for consideration. AIR correspondent reports that the Opposition BJP has also decided to raise the issues like corruption, price rise, increase in CNG rate and water tax during the session.
