Delhi seems to be heading for a fractured verdict with the debutant
Aam Aadmi Party giving a tough time to the BJP, pushing the Congress
to the third place. Following this, Delhi Chief Minister Shiela
Dikshit has tendered her resignation. She has been defeated by Aam
Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal who has been declared elected in the
New Delhi constituency. Delhi BJP Chief Ministerial candidate Dr. Harshvardhan has bagged the Krishna Nagar seat. Aam Aadmi Party spokesman Manish Sisodia has won Patparganj constituency. Many
ministers of Shiela Dikshit cabinet have lost. They inclue Raj Kumar
Chouhan, Kiran Walia, Ramakant Goswami and Dr.A.K. Walia. Delhi Assembly speaker and Congress leader Dr. Yoganand Shastri, AAP's Shazia Ilmi, BJP nominee and former Delhi Mayor Arati Mehra have lost.
