Delhi Assembly on Wednesday passed a bill related to regularization of guest teachers of the government schools in the city. <br/><br/>The Regularization of Services of Guest Teachers and teachers engaged under Surva Siksha Abhiyan was passed amid opposition BJP's walkout. <br/><br/>Replying to a debate on the bill, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said the regularization of teachers will give them job security and dignity. He said his government has taken several measures to improve the education system of Delhi. <br/><br/>Earlier, participating in the debate Leader of Opposition Vijendra Gupta accused the Aam Aadmi Party government of bringing the bill without following norms and termed the legislation as unconstitutional. <br/><br/>The Assembly also passed a resolution against the proposed hike of Delhi metro fares from 10th of this month saying it will create a hardship for people in the city.
