The Monsoon session of Delhi Assembly begins from today. The session will have four sittings and it will end on the 7th of this month. During the session, the Delhi government will present the Delhi Technical University (Amendment) Bill, the Delhi Co-operative Societies (Amendment) Bill and the Entertainment and Betting Tax (Amendment) Bill in the Assembly. Short duration discussions will also take place on various issues including status of unauthorised colonies in the city, proposed reforms in Delhi Jal Board and impact on citizens following hike in electricity tariff.
