Delhi Assembly has approved the Delhi Value Added Tax (Amendment) Bill 2009 on Wednesday.<br/><br/>The Bill proposes the enhancement of tax rate from present 4 per cent to 5 per cent on the specific goods.<br/><br/>The new tax rate is likely to generate additional resources of 500 crore rupees for the Delhi government.
