Delhi Assembly adjourned for 30 minutes

The Delhi Assembly was today adjourned for 30 minutes after ruling Congress members also joined the opposition Bharatiya Janata Party leaders in refusing to discuss the law and order problem in the city in the absence of Police Commissioner Y.S Dadwal. Following the uproar, Speaker Yoganand Shastri ruled that the House will meet after half an hour and asked for presence of the police commissioner.Earlier when the house reconvened after the break, BJP's Jagdish Mukhi said there could be no discussion on law and order situation in the capital without the police chief's presence.
