Delhi Airport Metro high-speed corridor will resume services in two months after necessary repairs.Briefing newsmen in New Delhi, Urban Development Secretary Sudhir Krishna said, the operator of the Line – the Reliance Infrastructure – had reported that there are some defects in the civil structure of the Metro track. He said the firm has insisted the operations should be suspended till the repairs works are done as it involves safety of passengers. He said, the metro line will be functional and resume services by the end of August.A committee comprising officials from the Indian Railways, Delhi Metro and Reliance Infrastructure is already looking into the nature of defects and they will submit a report within 10 days.
