The air quality in Delhi remained in the severe category today. A  layer of toxic haze hung over the national capital and the overall air quality index in the morning stood at 410, which falls under severe category. Delhi's air quality took a hit after Diwali night due to a combination of firecracker emissions, stubble burning and non-favourable meteorological conditions. According to the Ministry of Earth Sciences' air quality monitor, SAFAR, the share of stubble burning in Delhi's pollution rose to 35 per cent yesterday.<br />''<span style="color: #222222;"><br />''In its advisory, System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research has advised people of the sensitive category to avoid all physical activity outdoor and move activities indoors. It has asked general people to stop outdoor activity at early morning and after sunset times. They have also been advised to avoid prolonged or heavy exertion and go for a short walk instead of a jog and take more breaks.</span><br />
