<span style="color: #222222;">In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, a delegation of Olympic Association of the UT called on Adviser Farooq Khan and discussed various issues pertaining to infrastructure, activities and development of sports in J&amp;K. AIR correspondent reports that the delegation apprised the Adviser regarding issues related to sports infrastructure, lack of coaches in different sports, constitution of Sports Council and allocation of financial aid to different sports councils which are associated with J&amp;K Olympic Association.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Adviser gave a patient hearing to issues raised by the delegation and exhorted that UT Administration is committed to provide better sporting facilities and infrastructure to the players of J&amp;K so that they can perform better in the national and international competitions. He said that the UT Administration has taken several steps to promote sports activities in J&amp;K and informed that 2nd Winter games are going to be organized in Gulmarg again and the Hat administration is giving more emphasis on water sports.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Adviser said that the Administration is committed to provide best avenues and infrastructure to the sports-loving youth to channelize their energy towards a positive direction. He said that the UT Administration would engage top coaches at UT/ Division/ District level to provide best training to the players and Sports Academies will be constituted to provide a professional platform to the youths of the UT to showcase their hidden talent.</span><br />'' &nbsp;
