Delegation from J&K participates in UAE-India Food Security Summit 2020

<span style="color: #222222;">A delegation of farmers, growers, businessmen and government officials from the UT of J&K, with an aim to promote horticulture produce of the UT in the international market and tap the Gulf trade, is participating in the UAE-India Food Security Summit 2020. The Summit is being held from 7th to 10th of December. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR Correspondent reports that Principal Secretary, Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department, Navin Choudhary is leading the delegation comprising progressive growers and traders of apple and food industry to the event. It will be attended by prominent businessmen, investors and representatives of public sector organisations, business enterprises and institutions from both India and UAE. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The event has been organised by the Consulate General of India in Dubai in association with the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) and Invest India. It brings several key stakeholders from both the countries on one platform to share their experiences, deliberate on solutions and explore ways to further increase the collaboration in the food security sector. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The event will see discussions and presentations on food processing, equipment and technology, dairy product development and infrastructure development. During the Summit, the Council office of India will arrange more trade agreements between two partner countries and there will be every support from UAE and India to promote Jammu and Kashmir horticulture and connected sectors.</span>
