The Commonwealth Games Federation Chief Mike Fennel while lauding the positive progress made on mainly operational fronts, has warned the organisers that further delays in the construction, particularly the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium, would seriously impact on conducting the games. Speaking in New Delhi, he said he has received an assurance from the Indian Government that there will be no further delays in this regard.<br/><br/>The Federation dropped its controversial proposal of constituting a monitoring panel to oversee the preparation of the 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games.<br/><br/> <br/><br/> <br/>
