In Meghalaya the finance minister Dr Mukul Sangma today presented a deficit budget of 376 crore rupees for the financial year 2010-2011. While presenting this the finance minister said the present budget has low fiscal deficit mainly because of the favourable award by the 13th Finance Commission in form of higher share of Central Taxes.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, on the last day today of the six days budget session a bill on banning bandhs, strikes and other acts was also passed in the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly amid uproar and a walk-out staged by Opposition NCP demanding in-depth discussion on the issue.<br/>
