India's crucial monsoon has stopped in its tracks and may not advance further for another four days. The met office reported 26 per cent deficient rainfall across the country this season.
Weather scientists, however, said there is no reason to worry as a couple of good spells could change the scenario and wipe out the deficit.
Met Department Director General Laxman Singh Rathore told reporters in New Delhi that the moonsoon flows have been affected by atmospheric storm Talim. He said, Met Department will issue an update to its monsoon forecast today.
