Paraguay who played a goal-less draw against New Zealand in the other Group F encounter in Polokwane advanced to the Round Sixteen by topping the group with 5 points.In Group E, Japan beat Denmark 3-1 in Rustenburg and entered the round of sixteen. They finished second in the group with 6 points. The Netherlands who had already qualified for the next stage finished their engagements with an-all win record in the group. They beat Cameroon 2-1 at Cape Town. Netherlands who topped Group E will play Slovakia in the Second Round on Monday in Durban.Japan who finished second in Group E will play Paraguay on Tuesday in Pretoria.
