Defending champion Saina Nehwal has stormed into the semi-final of the India Open Super Series Badminton tournament . Saina defeated 5th seed Sung Ji Hyun of Korea 19-21, 21-14, 21-19 in a quarter-final match in New Delhi today. Saina will take on Li Shui of China in the semis. However, ace shuttler P.V.Sindhu failed to make it to the semis as Korea's Bae Yeon Ju defeated Sindhu 21-15, 15-21, 15-21 in another women's singles quarter final. India suffered another defeat when Japanese combo of Naoko Fukuman and Kurumi Yona beat Mohita Sahdev and Sanjana Santosh 21-8, 21-2 in women's doubles quarter-final .
