In football, defending champion India will kickstart their SAFF Under-17 Championship campaign against Bhutan in Colombo, Sri Lanka at 3:30pm on Monday afternoon.

Bangladesh will start their campaign in the 6-nation U-17 Championship taking on hosts Sri Lanka in the evening.

The seventh edition of the championship will kick off today in Sri Lanka. The final match will be played on 14th of this month.

Indian team have been clubbed in Group B alongside Bhutan and Nepal while Bangladesh have been placed in Group A along with Sri Lanka and the Maldives.

India won previous season title by beating Nepal 7?0 in 2019.
