Defence Ministry taking action against corrupt military personnel: Raju

The Minister of State for Defence, Dr. M.M. Pallam Raju has said that his Ministry is taking stringent action against corrupt military personnel. He said, although the number of corrupt personnel is very less but still if anyone, irrespective of any rank, found guilty, will not be spared. The Minister said this during an interaction with media on the sidelines of Golden Jubilee celebrations of the Founder’s Day of the Sainik School in Kapurthala, Punjab, today. He was the Chief Guest of the function. Punjab Minister for Defence Services Welfare, Captain Balbir Singh Bath was the Guest of Honour.AIR Correspondent reports that the Minister asked all the Rajya Sabha MPs to take care of Sainik Schools situated in their constituencies by providing more funds to them so that the schools could spend more on students’ overall development.
