Union Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has said that Army is fully geared and equipped to combat any untoward situation. Talking to media persons today at Varanasi the Defence Minister said that forces are monitoring every situation very closely on the areas bordering with Pakistan and China.<br/><br/>She has said that the Pakistani troops have violated the ceasefire at least three times during this month. She said that following recent diplomatic developments between India and China and as part of the disengagement of border personnel, the Chinese troops have left the disputed area of Doklam along with bulldozers and removed the tents which they had pitched.<br/><br/>In a function organised at BHU Ms.Sitharaman honoured the officials of 10 cantonment boards who have been declared Open Defection Free ODF. 14 cantonment boards out of 25 have been declared ODF.
