Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar today held talks with his Vietnamese counterpart Gen Ngo Xuan Lich to enhance bilateral defence cooperation.<br/><br/>Mr Parrikar arrived in Hanoi after wrapping up his Singapore visit, during which he attended the Shangri La Dialogue.<br/><br/>Vietnam is one of the parties to a dispute going on in the South China Sea.<br/><br/>More than 70 billion dollar worth of Indian trade is routed through these waters. India also had obtained oil-drilling rights in two blocks off the Vietnam coast.<br/><br/>Vietnam has also said to be in talks with New Delhi to acquire supersonic cruise missile Brahmos.
