Defence Research and Development Organization(DRDO) has displayed a wide variety of military hardware at the ongoing Defence Expo-2014. Speaking at a press conference, Secretary Defence R&D and Scientific Advisor to Defence Minister, Avinash Chander highlighted the success initiatives undertaken by DRDO to strenghten Country's Defence technology. The organization has unveiled a number of indegenously designed and developed systems crucial to meet the stringent requirements of Indian armed forces. Unmanned systems and futuristic war machines are the main highlight of the expo. Our Correspondent reports, the expo will be continued till 9th of this month.DRDO is the research and develoment wing of Ministry of Defence. The organization was established in the year 1958 with a vision to empower India's cutting edge defence technologies and a mission to achieve self-reliance in critical defence technologies and systems.
