Deepika Kumari enters recurve women's individual final of Archery World Cup Stage-I competition

Deepika Kumari has entered the recurve women's individual final of the Archery World Cup Stage-I competition in Shanghai. She defeated Beijing Olympics gold medalist Hyun-Jung Joo 7-3 in the semi Fianl clash.She will face another Beijing gold medalist Ok-Hee Yun in the final. The former world No 1 Indian archer later partnered Jayanta Talukdar to beat the Mexican duo of Aida Roman and Juan Rene Serrano in the semifinal of the recurve mixed team. In the final, the Indian duo of Deepika and Talukdar will face the US pair of Khatuna Lorig and Brady Ellison. Indian women's trio – Trisha Deb, Gagandeep Kaur and Lily Chanu – today entered the bronze play-off. Theywill face Italy tomorrow.
