Delhi Police Law and Order chief Deepak Mishra was transferred to the force's administration unit today. This was the first such major reshuffle after Alok Kumar Verma took over the reins of the force. 1984 batch IPS officer Mr. Mishra was one of the top contenders for the police commissioner's post to succeed B S Bassi.<br/><br/> The post of Special CP administration is considered second in command in the force, in which Mr. Mishra will succeed Vimla Mehra who retired along with Bassi.The transfer order also contain names of 15 other senior police officers.
